How To Google Proof Your Online Business

Hey hows it going?

I know its been a while since i last posted but ive been really busy setting up another income stream which i will explain about more in detail shortly

This is going to be a rather long blog post so grab a drink and a comfy chair because the information that im going to share is very valuable!

Firstly your probably thinking what exactly does “how to google proof your online business mean”? well you may have an idea and you may of even come across this term already.

Im talking about making sure that you are building a long term online business which is both profitable and stable. As you know there are many different ways to create an online income but if you really are serious about building some wealth online then you need to consider building assets.

When i say building assets i mean building an email  list which you will own and have full control over

If you have been hanging around my blog for any length of time then you would of seen that i currently use adsense and amazon as my income streams which over the last 12 months ive had some good success with. You would of also of read that im a firm believer of sticking to only 1 business model until you have had some reasonable success and you have made it work for you! (That is very important)

Its also important that you dont get too carried away with only using these types of income streams to rely on because as much as you can earn some nice money from them, you are not in complete control over your online business. If your using amazon or adsense and getting FREE traffic then in most cases your going to be getting most of your traffic from search engines. This is absolutely fine at first but do you mind having the future of your income and online business solely in the hands of the search engines??

If you dont mind and have answered no to that question then you may as well leave this blog now because you of course dont take your online business serious.

I know some people have built a very substantial income from just SEO but it is not something that i would recommend.

In case you were wondering, this blog post did not come about because ive been hit hard by the search engines or ive lost traffic, in fact some of my sites have had an increase in traffic. Ive got one site which i covered in another post that i get an insane amount of traffic to each month and it continues to grow im currently at around 50k uni ques a month.

Just because my sites are doing well that doesnt mean im just going to sit back and relax and think everything’s great because although things are growing nicely i want to build some long term assets like building a good email list of customers.

With that being said i decided to focus on affiliate marketing and using products from clickbank as i love clickbank and really enjoy seeing those commissions appear in my account. I will say though that ive not really earned that much from clickbank  so not only am i going to building my clickbank income but i will be building a good list at the same time which will be one of my assets.

There was no way that i was going to send another person direct to a sales page ever again it makes me sick the thought of how much traffic we lose from our hard work. Anyway ive finally built my first clickbank sales funnel which is almost complete and all i can say is it feels so much better knowing that all my traffic is not going to waste.

Yes its been hard work and it has cost me a small amount of money but is it worth it? Hell YES!

I now have a site built which is getting traffic and im getting opt ins

Well basically ive created a good squeeze page and sales page  using optimize press

outsourced a 7 day report that i use as my giveaway to build my list

created my own sales video which i send my traffic to for the product

building traffic using ezine articles and already getting some traffic from SEO, (article marketing is the main traffic source though)

That is very basic i know but thats pretty much how things are working

A Few Things You Should Note!

When you next go through ezine articles have a look at the top authors and see how many people are actually building a list and sending there traffic to a squeeze page? I went through about 15 top authors and dozens of articles before i found a marketer who was actually building a list direct from ezine articles. And funny enough this guy is a very successful Internet marketer!! lol
